I am currently a Postdoc in Dmitri Efetov's group at LMU in Munich. Previous to my Postdoc position, I obtained my PhD in physics from the University of Cambridge under the supervision of Prof. F. Malte Grosche, where my work was mostly on quantum oscillations in Dirac (nodal-line) semimetals. I performed low-temperature measurements and density functional theory (DFT) calculations on a high-performance computing cluster as part of my PhD. Besides topological phenomena, I have consistently been interested in quantum computing throughout my academic career.
Prior to my PhD I obtained both my bachelor's and master's degrees in physics from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich). During my undergraduate studies I studied one year at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), during which I also worked on two research projects.
Please have a look at the Research section for a more detailed description of the research projects that I was involved with.
